Kylee Davis launched her self-titled knitwear label in 2011 after Browns Fashions, one of the world’s premium retailers and a fashion landmark in the English capital, seized the opportunity to be the world’s first stockist of  the exclusive New Zealand made label.

Auckland-born Davis has honed her unique aesthetic during twenty years as a fashion designer, stylist and manufacturer. On that journey she has gained a wealth of critical and commercial success including winning the prestigious Benson & Hedges Supreme Award and Air NZ Export Development Award.

Following training at Massey University in 1995, Kylee established her first knitwear label, Insidious Fix. It was stocked throughout Australasia and select boutiques in Denmark, the US and the UK; in the process gathering a cult-like following.

Second label, Stitch Ministry, was founded in 2006 and went on to win its own commercial success with sexy, sophisticated and understated designs, predominantly in knitwear.

Committed to designing wearable and fashion-forward knitwear, Kylee has long been a tour de force at the genre. Seven fashion week appearances in Australia and New Zealand have supported Kylee’s position as one of Australasia’s leading exponents of ready-to-wear knitwear design.

Kylee Davis’ ongoing success and innovative work has received recognition through extensive celebration in the media with several features in leading New Zealand fashion publications including “The Dress Circle” and “New Zealand Fashion Design”. Fashion Knitwear, a UK-publication, was recently released featuring Kylee alongside forty of the world's top designers such as Missoni and Sonya Rykiel.
